I was looking for a great gift for my moms b day and i think i found it. She loved this thing and takes it everywhere. Its like a child to her. She is almost like an amateur film creator. I mean all day shooting vid with this thing and the quality is amazing. The battery life is great and the clarity is definetely up there. Great price great value and well worth the money. I love the compact design and the functionality of this product. It works better than the other ones i have seen on the market especially the Kodak zi-6. I have never heard of the brand until recently but never the less i works great. I would even like to purchase one for myself when i can. I would recommend this to anyone trying to please a love one or a spouse. You will recieve huge browny points with this camera.

I bought this camera because it was cheaper then the flip. But then I found that unless you are shouting into the speaker, there is no way you can hear anything on it. Such a waste because now I have to buy the flip for another $150. Great.

The camcorder is fine, for the money, except for one thing. I have the volume turned to the "max" and can hardly hear the replay. Perhaps it's only my unit...or maybe it's epidemic, I don't know.

I didn't have high expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. The battery has never run out on me yet. Pictures & video are a bit grainy, but good enough. I have not recorded (and slowed down to analyze) a golf swing yet, but will try that soon. It is real easy to transfer the content to youtube, and we have all enjoyed that very much!

I bought it to take backpacking - often at the vistas, one picture does not do the scenery justice. I hope a video shot will be better.

I also got this to review backpacking gear, as I'm a bit of a gear junkie. This will do great in that aspect.

a good buy I think.

To be able to finally capture life's special little moments with this camera is great. I keep it in my pocket, and since it turns on so quickly, am able to shoot the action as it happens. It's really easy to use, and the included software makes it easy for simple viewing and editing. The video quality is more than good enough, though not steller. The 2+ hours in the highest quality mode is more than enough for a day's shooting. Try not to zoom too much, though; the image becomes blurry.



I could not successfully upload to YouTube using the Vado Central software; it says successful but the video never appeared. I had to upload using YouTube website.



Wish list: image stabalization, better optical zoom, ability to cut scenes out of video, uploading to YouTube that works.

This is a great product for everyone , its features make this product basic with out all the complications of most devices. its the size of a small cell phone and instantly records when needed. My surprise it was more than I expected for a pocket video device.

And yes it is high definition. Works well on PC but harder to play on a MAC without conversion steps. The other model from the other mfg suports both well.



Plugs directly into a spare HDMI port on any HD TV and just plays with astonishing results no matter how large the screen. More than my expectations again. This newer unit from Creative is priced at the will buy line of anyone.

I snaged it as soon as it was released and I read the reviews.



The little screen is big enough to view the segments and you can string them together or dump them on you laptop and develop a movie in any sequence of a trip from start to final cut. You can trash any segments you do not like or where you thought the unit was off and you were making a video of you feet. It take getting use to making segments with meaning and small chatter. The audio is excellent, again you must play with the unit to not overblast on a naritive segment. Other folks can be heard well as well as background noise. You have several other ways to connect to a video source and all of the cables and extension cables including the HDMI cable come with the set. There is a USB extencion cable also to the fold out little pigtail on the camera.



I recommend this unit over lugging a video setup and batteries. The batteries in this unit are also new Li Ion with long life and charged in the usb port.



The unit has the installed utilities and viewers on the internal memory and it transfers itself to your PC as a Plugin. It's cool and cranks up fast using the fast USB connection to the solid state memory. HD movie segments can be large but the Unit claims 2 hrs of HD recording. (other brands about 1hr) and even more with regular definition. I did not run out and have mucho time left after 3 consecutive trips and have not dumped the files to the can. ( I did send them over the internet to a server running in Ohio, should my unit be misplaced forever) (do this while you are sleeping some of the segments were 160mb) It took 3 hrs using a single stream direct connect for 120 files from 25mb to 160mb
