 "Flip Mino" 2009-07-28

So small and handy--I keep this in my purse. You will want to buy a case if you do this. Easy to download videos and post online. Quality isn't professional, so you will still want to use your real video camera for important events. Captures sound quite well and has a bit of zoom capability--not alot. Battery life is good.

I use this for work and play not the best in quality but it gets the job done for easy to shot videos.

 "Extremely poor support" 2009-07-17
By Armando Aguilar Pombo (USA)
I loved the camera while it worked. Then, after recharging it overnight, I was never able to turn it on overnight. I checked the web site and it seems this occurs quite often. I followed the suggestions and nothing worked. I contacted their support department and since it had been more than 90 days since I bought it they declined any kind of warranty or support. There are other options like the Kodak Zi6 out there with much better support. In the end, $200 off to the trash can.

"Works well, hard to handle big files." 2009-07-16
By J. D. Garcia (Abilene Texas)
This product works as advertised. It is easy to take videos and transfer them to the computer. The battery last along time and you would be surprised with how many videos you can record in one hour. The software also does a good job. However, some times it is had to edit videos that are a few minutes long. It is great to record very short video for YouTube, that is it.

 "Flip was a Flop" 2009-07-13
By Margaret Kardos (connecticut)
This camera worked for less than 6 months. It froze and when I contacted Flip support they suggested I reset it and leave it charging for up to 12 hours. I followed their directions and not only did the camera remain dead, but it ruined my computer as well. Computer crashed and diagnostics said it was the result of a bad peripheral. The Flip was the only thing I had plugged in. Tech support will not fix the camera because the warranty is only for 90 days. Fortunately I have a good warranty on my computer because basically the whole internal system has to be replaced. To summarize, if you want to spend close to $200 for a camera that has a 90 day warranty, then go ahead, but I say the flip is nothing but an expensive flop. DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA!
