I AM AMAZED HOW LITTLE AND EFFICIENT THE MINO IS AS WELL AS THE EDITING SOFTWARE. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PRACTICLE MECHANISM TO RECORD VIDEOS FOR YOUTUBE OR EVEN PERSONAL VIDEOS THE SOUND AND PICTURE QUALITY IS AMAZING AND THE PRICE IS EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE. I DO LOOK DISTORTED WHEN I HOLD THE CAMERA CLOSE TO MY FACE B/C I DID NOT BUY THE TRI POD AND I WALK AROUND NYC AND OUTDOORS IN CROWDS SOMETIMES RECORDING MYSELF SO I'M A CHALLENGING SUBJECT FOR THAT REASON HOWEVER THATS NOT A PROBLEM JUST A FACT! I purchased this item just last year and it quit working about a month ago.
I contacted the manufacture but got absolutely no support because its out of the 3 month warrenty.
I don't feel 3 months is much of a warrenty.
very dissappointed will never buy flip mino again.

Light, compact, easy to carry along. Pretty good quality for the small size. Interface with a PC is very easy to use. The sound is adequate but not up to the picture quality. Also doesn't work very well at distances. Up to about 20 or 25 feet I am pleased with the picture but farther away than that the subjects are too small.

I have eight months whit the Flip Mino Camcorder and I never have a problem, make great videos and whit good quality maybe not the best but a very good one for the size of this device, I used this camcorder a lot, the life of the battery is good too, and is so easy to manage the videos in the flip library.
I highly recommend the Flip.
