 "Works as advertised" 2009-08-13
By B. Erickson (Chico, CA USA)
I am going to Southeast Asia at the end of the month and I am taking my Nokia N82 Phone with 5 MP Camera and Xenon Flash! camera phone with me. I wanted some way to take photos and not need to worry about the monsoons I expect to encounter. I have tested the case in the sink and it seems to provide the protection my phone will need. Of course, it is more difficult to use the phone, but that is to be expected.

For any other N82 users: I flipped the camera lens switch on, quit the camera app, then changed the right stand-by hot key to "Camera". It will require three button presses to get to camera mode with unlock and the hot key. You could continue to use the lens switch, but I don't like the idea of scratching up the case material since the switch is so close to the lens.

I plan to update this review when I return mid September.

"Protected my Flip Video Ultra HD" 2009-08-09
By Albert (Maryland)
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3Q4SPWPQ0W40R I bought this case so I could protect my new Flip Video Ultra HD (2nd generation) camera from the water and sand when I went to the beach. It did take me some time to put the camera inside the case, but once securely in, I was able to operate the power, and record/stop buttons without any issues. The attached strap also keeps the case securely attached to your wrist or neck. I was pleased with the outcome and felt confident getting in the ocean, etc.

The one thing I did not do however, was completely submerge the case in the water. I may test that out with an older camera I have before I try that with my new flip. Overall, I am very pleased with the case and would recommend it.

 "AquaPac Keeps it Dry" 2009-07-21
By H. Port
I bought this and 2 others so we could use our cannon powershot and flip vidoe camera in Mexico. It worked great. I put our powershot in the pack and gingerly took it out in the ocean and after a few minutes realized it was keep the camera completely dry. It also takes very clear pictures through the plastic. On almost all the pictures you couldn't even tell it was in the bag! The only draw back I have is that sometimes when the lens would extend from the camera body when you would turn the camera on it would push up agains the plastic of the bag and cause the camera to error because it couldn't fully extend. I quickly learned that if you made sure the camera wasn't all the way at to the side of the bag it would funtion just fine. It was nice, cost effective, way to take pictures in a wet environment. We even pushed the bag underwater and took a some pictures!

 "So far...So good" 2009-07-10
By Floyd Goodrich (Alta Loma, CA USA)
The pool was too cold to go into when I received this so I put a wad of tissue inside this and sunk it to the bottom of the pool (8 ft) for thirty minutes. When I brought it up and opened it up the tissue was dry as a bone. I think if it was going to leak it would have done it within thirty minutes. Should be fun to use this summer when the grand kids come over to swim.

 "worked well" 2009-05-07
By Andrea C. Bridge (cape cod, MA)
After reading too many bad reviews for the hard case made for the flip video camera I decided to go with the aquapac. It worked great although you have to make sure that the bag is pulled tight where the lens is or you get a ripply pic. I am just trying to figure out the best way to clean it...after a week of snorkling and sunscreen it got pretty smudgy and dirty. Big bonus... it floats!!!
