I just don't get the negative reviews....? I have a Mac and Quick time downloads the videos perfectly. I can play them on a pc as well. The HD60 videos are beautiful and look great on YouTube. The camera is well made, the best value for HD, does great pans if you use patience and you don't have a shaky hand syndrome, battery life is all you need with a 4 pack of Kodak recharging bats and a 1 hour charger, usb hook-up works well and is easy to use and the screen is large and clear. The stills are very nice as is the sound and low light videos aren't nearly as poor as reviewers have made them out to be. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

i got this item but the problem is the batteries charger not working :( so i have brought new one, over all i suggest this Zi6 and i think it is better than FLIP Cam, at least you can change the Memory card... yes go ahead and get it

This product has been great! It makes great quality video and it is very easy to use with the pop-out USB. The only problem I have had with it is that you have to have pretty good lighting in the room in order for it to get a good video.
It is really easy to use with only a few buttons on the unit. It is around the size of a cell phone too, so I can always have it in my purse.
I would definately recommend this product, especially for the price!!

I will start by saying that I was in the market for a pocket HD camcorder, not a full-size HD camcorder. Moreover, I kept in mind that I wanted something relatively inexpensive (I didn't want buy something so expensive that I would be too afraid to use it).
That being said, the Kodak Zi6 has been a great purchase so far. I initially set a budget for myself of around $180, and ended up getting this camera for around $106 on Amazon ... a great deal. I have since used this camcorder at a baseball game, a wedding, and more. Video taken in well-lit areas is fantastic. Video in darker areas is, well, to be expected, but, that goes with any camera or camcorder. The portability of this is nice ... fits right in my pocket. The weight is pretty late ... the 2 AA batteries weigh more than the camcorder itself ... or so it seems.
I love the option to expand with an SD card. For now, I've been using a 2 GB card, which would enable me to take roughly a half hour of HD (30fps) video). I recently purchased a 16 GB SDHC card (also from Amazon) so I look forward to using that. The camcorder can take up to a 32 GB card.
One thing I will mention is why I chose this product over competitors (i.e., Creative HD Vado and Flip HD camcorder). I believe the sound is superior in this unit. If you go on YouTube and search videos from each of these camcorder models, I think you will notice that the sound is a little better with the Zi6 than the other units. And, at the end of the day, what good is a video if you can't hear the people talking?
Product is very user-friendly (if my sister can use it without any problems, anyone can!). Worth the money!

The camera is cute and compact yet lacks features. It's zoom strength leaves much to be desired, you can only film someone who is around 5' away from you and it doesn't zoom out enough to get full bodies captured clearly. Overall I would have saved my money and bought a 'real' handheld camera. The major feature they endorse is upload straight to utube and the inboard usb (which did not work on mine) and I still had to save from the sd card. If you just want a camera that can sit in your purse than it's ok other than that put the money towards something with more zoom power and better picture quality. Picture actually lagged behind and has 'trails' when the subject is moving in the video.
